In my decades of teaching Yoga and Ayurveda, I have noticed a certain need for community as we work to integrate these ancient pathways into our modern lives for the long term.

We succeed when we surround ourselves with like-minded people and activities.

In response to this need, the Ayurvedic Living Institute offers a membership program, a community for members to get healthier and make empowered choices, and to feel a sense of community for sharing pitfalls and triumphs, and for continued inspiration.

We will discuss food, sleep, exercise, women’s health, the mind, and subtle and spiritual practices throughout an annual cycle. We will address our bodies’ changing needs as the seasons of our life and climate shift.

 FAQs

Q. When does it start?

A. You can join at any time. If you are totally new to Ayurveda, start to read any of Kate’s books (such as The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook) to prepare for joining the crew.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. Our annual subscription is the best deal, at $399 per year (save $200). A quarterly subscription costs $150/quarter. Both options are an auto-renew and your card will be billed once/year for the annual option, or every 3-months for the quarterly option.

Q. How long will I have access to the content?

A. For as long as your membership is active, you will have access to the recorded class library, recordings of any virtual live events during the year of your membership, recordings of monthly Sangha meetings, and the discussion group immediately from the date of your purchase until you decide to cancel your membership.

Q. What is the refund policy?

A. The membership is an auto-renew that bills on the first day of each 3-month block. Quarterly subscriptions can be canceled at any time before the end of the quarter, please make a note of the date of your auto-renew. Please remember that all meetings are recorded and uploaded to the membership site, if you can’t make it live.  

 

Q. When are the live meetings?

A. Membership meetings will be held on Zoom, one Thursday monthly, at 12:00-1:00 EST. The list of dates and zoom links can be found in your Membership Resource Library.

Q. Where do I find the recorded community meetings, and the zoom links for meetings and events?

A. All your membership goodies can be found on your course dashboard at www.ayurvedicliving.institute. The educational platform we use is called Thinkific, please check your junk box to make you can receive emails from Thinkific in your inbox.

 

Q. Does membership include email access to Kate and other members?

A. Your membership includes an online community feature where you can chat with other members! You are invited to share your questions for Kate in between meetings by emailing hello [at] ayurvedicliving.institute. We will choose a few to address each time, as well as field questions in real-time at the meetings.

 

Q. Does membership include private consultation with Kate, or coaching on personal health concerns?

A. No, the community meetings are not a place where we can give your body/mind system the full attention that is needed to get to and address the root cause of imbalances. The great news, however, is that in practice Kate has found that often, the kind of diet and lifestyle techniques we will follow during this year, are the MOST effective in turning around even complex health problems.
